Thankful & other November Happenings

Thankful that (Aunt) Sharon &
Granny love me, favorite
Thanksgiving food was the turkey
treats (scotcharoos).
Hello there Adventurous Friends, greetings from South Dakota.  How you doing?  I intentionally thought about everyday things to be thankful for this month according to the activities going on for the day.  The Grands shared their thankful things & favorites of the Thanksgiving holiday.  They all looked so pretty & handsome dressed in their Sunday clothes on their way to church.  I texted with the older Grands most everyday about thankful things.  That was an enjoyable activity this month within itself.

This is Sentence a Day where I join others & write a little something about each of my days, wrote in a long drawn out sentence or 2.  This month's sentences includes a thing I was thankful for each day.

    1. I thought the turkeys were cupcakes too. They are actually rice Krispie treats made with butterscotch, called scotcharoos. Daughter made those. The cake was made by a professional cake maker/decorator. The gnome ornament was perfect size for the mini tree.

  2. I can't believe how few people live in your town! Less than 400, wow. How lovely to see pictures of all your grandchildren! I am no where near being finished with Christmas shopping, I need to shift up a gear I think. Love those little turkey cupcakes!

    1. The population is one of the reasons we chose to move to the little town along with there being a job opening that I could transfer too.

    1. I am proud of all the Grands, I did enjoy that thankful activity this year. Unfortunately, somedays it was hard to think of something to be thankful for coming home tired from a long day at the office.

  4. I did the same thing with my sentence a day post! What yummy Thanksgiving desserts and I loved the little snippets from all the grands about what they are thankful for too. Good for you for getting all your Christmas stuff out of the way nice and early; I'm like that too.
