Walking for Wellness - Week 6

 Hello there Adventurous Friends, this is where I'm keeping up with my eating & walking  activities in attempts to get my weight & cholesterol back down. The weather was nice, so there were longer sunshine dog walks with Rose.  I parked at the end of the street, so there was extra walking to & from the office.  I think I did good keeping my portion sizes in tack.  Good thing I bake a limited number of cookies, there is no end to the numbers of cookies I would have ate.

Here's my Plan:

  • Eat smaller portions, take smaller bites, chew more 
  • Eat varieties of all the foods I like & not deprive myself
  • Eat a variety of fruits & vegetables, at least 1 fruit & 1 green vegetable a day
  • Stop eating when full
  • Walk more
  • 1 small sweet a day, if any
  • Drink more water
  • No snacks after supper

* Sat  

Breakfast - crunchy raisin bran cereal

Lunch - pizza, salad & coke

Supper - bbq pulled pork, salad, 1/2 serving pringles chips, peanut butter & nutella crackers

Drink - one cup of coffee, water 

Exercise - dog walks

Snack - popcorn

Brunch - sausage & egg biscuit with jelly from Hardees, coke

Supper - shared a whopper & fries from Burger King with Kevin, coke

Snack - hot fudge sundae from Dairy Queen

Drink - one cup of coffee, water, coke

Exercise - walking & fishing in the canyon 

Maybe a little too much coke while on our outing, Kevin got me a large one & I sipped on it all day instead of the water I brought.

The road was open for foot traffic & bicycles
since there wasn't enough snow for snowmobiling,
 though this one section was still covered with snow.

Breakfast - leftover 1/4 sausage burger patty with cheese on it, egg & cinnamon apple slices

Lunch - bbq pulled pork, leftover egg from breakfast, single serving of pringles chips

Supper - taco salad, cookies

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks

Breakfast - 1/2 of a single serving turkey pot pie with veggies, egg & cinnamon apple slices

Lunch - cup of beef noodle soup

Snack - chewy dip bar

Supper - fish, fried tators & carrots

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - walk during work break, longer sunshine dog walks

Breakfast - crunchy raisin bran cereal & mandarin orange slices

Lunch - taco

Supper - taco salad

Snack - popcorn

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks


* Thurs

Breakfast - almond crunchy honey oat cereal, mandarin orange slices

Lunch - taco

Supper - Pizza & coke

Snack - ice cream

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - walk during break, yard work at the office picking up pine cones, dog walks & a long one after supper


* Fri

Breakfast - almond crunchy honey oat cereal, banana slices

Lunch - a slice of leftover pizza

Supper - fish, salad, tators & ramps

Snack - ice cream

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - walk during work break, dog walks

Walking for Wellness - Week 5

Hello there Adventurous Friends, this is where I'm keeping up with my eating & walking  activities in attempts to get my weight & cholesterol back down.  I got in 2 good walks this week & drank more coke than planned.  I noticed my wedding band & shoes are looser, not what I was thinking about, though it's something noticeable.

Here's my Plan:

  • Eat smaller portions, take smaller bites, chew more 
  • Eat varieties of all the foods I like & not deprive myself
  • Eat a variety of fruits & vegetables, at least 1 fruit & 1 green vegetable a day
  • Stop eating when full
  • Walk more
  • 1 small sweet a day, if any
  • Drink more water
  • No snacks after supper

* Sat

Breakfast - 1/2 of a single serving sausage & gravy pot pie & an egg, gave one egg to Rose

Lunch - bbq pulled pork sandwich & single serving pack of pringles chips, ate late & hungry, ate the whole sandwich instead of just 1/2 of it, was at the point of being overfull

Supper - none, still satisfied from eating a late lunch

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Snack - popcorn, 2 dum dum suckers & 2 packs of fun size m&ms at bingo

Exercise - walk during break, dog walks

Didn't get in a veggie or fruit, that's how easy it is for me to not eat them


* Sun

Breakfast - sausage, egg & cheese sandwich, mine was no bread & no cheese, 1 piece of sausage, an egg & apple slices 

Lunch - Hardees chicken tenders & fries shared with Kevin, apple pie, coke

Supper - 1/2 whopper, fries & coke from Burger King

Drink - one cup of coffee, water, coke

Exercise - lots of walking & fishing

Too much coke while out.





* Mon 

Breakfast - sausage & egg biscuit

Lunch - other 1/2  of leftover whopper burger & trail mix

Supper - meat, veggies, fruit, bread, pickled okra, carrot cake & chocolate ice cream provided by fellow Lions club member, good eats, ate too much though didn't overstuff

Drink - one cup of coffee, water, coke with supper

Exercise - not much except for dog walking just long enough for Rose to do her business

Coke for supper was comfort drink after long busy day at work, seems if I have a lot of coke one day then the next day I crave it.

* Tues

Breakfast - just coffee, still full from supper

Lunch - cup of soup - sausage, potatoes, kale

Snack -  1/2 pb&j sandwich

Supper - fish, sweet potatoes, blackeye peas & cornbread muffin, cookies

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - walk during work break & dog walks



* Weds

Breakfast - 1/2 single serving beef pot pie & an egg

Snack - other 1/2 of pot pie & an egg

Lunch - left over fish, sweet potatoes, blackeye peas & cornbread muffin, cookies

Supper - left over pull pork, sweet potatoes, black eye peas & cornbread muffin, apple sauce & trail mix

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks


* Thurs

Breakfast - crunchy raisin bran cereal

Lunch - chicken salad on crackers

Supper - pizza with added onions & green peppers, coke

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - walk in the hills



* Fri

Breakfast - crunchy raisin bran cereal

Lunch - leftover pizza & an egg

Supper - grilled sausage burgers with cheese, pork & beans, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, applesauce, made mine a salad, no bread, 1/2 the burger & a spoonful of ranch dressing, Kevin had coke & no coke for me.

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walk & during break in the office

Walking for Wellness - Week 4

Hello there Adventurous Friends, this is where I'm keeping up with my eating & walking  activities in attempts to get my weight & cholesterol back down.  I didn't get in a lot of walking this week, though tried to keep eating smaller portions under control & there was cookies made & eaten.

Here's my Plan:

  • Eat smaller portions, take smaller bites, chew more 
  • Eat varieties of all the foods I like & not deprive myself
  • Eat a variety of fruits & vegetables, at least 1 fruit & 1 green vegetable a day
  • Stop eating when full
  • Walk more
  • 1 small sweet a day, if any
  • Drink more water
  • No snacks after supper

* Sat 

Breakfast - cinnamon life cereal & strawberries

Snack - none

Lunch/Veggies - salad containing mac & cheese & trail mix, spoon full of ranch dressing

Supper/Veggies/Sweet - grilled deer steak, small portion, okra & carrots, Kevin's birthday cake & ice cream

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks, intentional extra trips up & down the stairs while doing laundry & putting stuff away

* Sun

Breakfast - omelet biscuit from Hardees, brought my one cup of coffee from home

Lunch/Veggies/Sweet- single pattie butter burger, fries & coke, lettuce & tomato, ate 1/2 burger & fries, didn't have a refill of coke

Supper - other 1/2 of burger & fries

Drinks - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise not much, dog walks just long enough to get business done, cold & windy, walked while shopping

Snack - birthday cake & ice cream when got home from shopping, was tempted to get a chocolate sweet snack while shopping to have while riding but didn't, didn't get refills on my one med size coke cup having several opportunities.  Didn't overeat, didn't feel stuffed or bloated. Yay!

Fruit - none

* Mon

Breakfast/Fruit - cinnamon life cereal & strawberries, ate small portion, put a little cereal back in box

Snack - none

Lunch/Veggies - leftover over Sat supper, grouse, mac & cheese, okra & carrots, small portions of each all together in a small container

Supper/Veggies/Sweet - cleaned up leftovers same as lunch along with a little salad & side of birthday cake & ice cream

Drinks - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks, walked during work break


* Tues

Breakfast/Fruit - cinnamon life cereal with strawberries

Snack - none

Lunch - cup of chili 

Supper/Veggie/Sweet - 1/2 grilled egg, pulled pork & cheese sandwich; salad, cake & ice cream

Drinks - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - extra walking putting away laundry & stuff, walked during break

No snack after supper


* Wed

Breakfast/Fruit - cinnamon life cereal with orange slices

Snack - none

Lunch/Veggie - other 1/2 of grilled sandwich & salad

Supper/Veggie/Sweet - turkey, pasta, carrots, peas, 1/2 pb&j sandwich that Kevin didn't eat for lunch

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - walk during break, dog walks


* Thurs

Breakfast/Fruit - cinnamon life cereal & apple slices

Snack - none

Lunch/Veggies - small container of leftovers from supper, turkey, pasta, carrots, peas

Supper/Sweet - pizza, coke & cookies

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - cold & raining, didn't go for our Thursday walk outing, walked during break, dog walks


* Fri

Breakfast/Fruit- crunchy raisin bran cereal, apple slices, a second cup of coffee, the Keurig didn't give me a full cup, made a 2nd cup for the road

Snack -none

Lunch/Veggie/Sweet - leftover slice of pizza, salad, coke & cookies

Supper/Veggie - turkey, pasta, carrots & peas

Drink - 2 cups of coffee, water

Exercise - walked during break, dog walks

No snack after supper

Walking for Wellness - Week 3

Hello there Adventurous Friends, this is where I'm keeping up with my eating & walking  activities in attempts to get my weight & cholesterol back down.  Eating less is what I'm working on 1st, eating what I normally eat, making better choices.  I will be eating cookies & I will not be eating beets.  You might have heard me say that before, the truth is the truth.  Last week I forgot about fruit a couple of the days, let's see how things went this week.

Here's my Plan:

  • Eat smaller portions, take smaller bites, chew more 
  • Eat varieties of all the foods I like & not deprive myself
  • Eat a variety of fruits & vegetables, at least 1 fruit & 1 green vegetable a day
  • Stop eating when full
  • Walk more
  • 1 small sweet a day, if any
  • Drink more water
  • No snacks after supper


* Sat

Breakfast/Fruit - small serving of cereal, Kevin's homemade applesauce

Snack - none

Lunch - other 1/2 of burger & fries leftovers from supper

Supper/Veggie - 1/2 of burger sized sausage pattie, instead of the whole thing, roasted veggies & salad

Sweet - none

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - several long dog walks

No snack after supper

I ate on these roasted veggetables for several days.
I used a variation of that recipe for brussels sprouts to
roast cauliflower, broccoli & brussel sprouts. I marinated
for a couple of hours instead of overnight.  I didn't have a
lemon so I used lemon juice.  These turned out a bit tangy
& got more tangy with each passing day of leftovers.



Brussel sprouts - Juice of 1 lemon, 1 Tbs olive oil, ⅛ tsp pepper, 1/8 tsp paprika & ⅛ tsp garlic salt. Cut brussels sprouts in half or quartered.  Put sprouts in seal bag & toss with mixture until well coated.  Refrigerate overnight. When ready to roast, preheat oven to 400, put sprouts on baking sheet & bake for 15-20 minutes.









* Sun

Breakfast/Fruit - open face meatloaf & egg sandwich, put the bread & cheese back, the egg yoke took their place, added applesauce.

Lunch/Sweet - Easter picnic cracker buffet, egg salad & other toppings, chocolate Easter rabbit shared with Kevin

Snack - rest of the chocolate rabbit

Supper - crackers with peanut butter & jelly, egg salad

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - lots of walking

Veggie - none, the egg salad had onion though not a serving

No snack after supper

Breakfast/Fruit- single serving of oatmeal, applesauce 

Snack - none

Lunch/Veggies - leftovers small portion, roasted veggies

Supper/Veggies/Sweet - Lions club meeting pizza, had 1 slice instead of 2, salad, cookies, didn't have coke, saving it for Thursday pizza & walking.

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks

No snack after supper


* Tues

Breakfast/Fruit - single serving of oatmeal, applesauce

Lunch/Veggies - Leftover slice of pizza from Lions meeting along with a salad & leftover roasted veggies.

Supper/Veggies - Tv dinner lasagna with leftover roasted veggies

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - several mini dog walks

Snack/Sweet - made cake like brownies after supper, ate one instead of 3 or 4


* Wed

Breakfast/Fruit - single serving oatmeal, orange slices

Snack - none

Lunch/Veggies - mac & cheese, roasted veggies & salad

Supper/Sweet - pot pie, 2 eggs & brownie

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks

No snack after supper



* Thurs

Breakfast/Fruit - single serving of oatmeal & orange slices

Snack - none

Lunch/Veggies/Sweet - leftover mac & cheese with roasted veggies, brownie

Supper/Veggies/Sweet - pizza, leftover over roasted veggies, can of coke

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks, walking in the hills

No snack after supper, had 2 sweets, Kevin offered 1/2 of kit kat after supper for a 3rd sweet snack, no thanks, that's how sweets add up in a day for me

Breakfast/Fruit - cereal & strawberries

Snack - none

Lunch/Veggie - leftover pizza, brussel sprouts & salad

Supper/Veggies- fish sandwiches & mac & cheese, I didn't have the bread & made mine a fish salad

Sweets - ate the last brownie after supper

Drink - one cup of morning coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks




Notes: Not a lot of walking during the week due to working long hours & being tired, controlled over eating & grabbing this & that comfort food after those long days, didn't eat 1/2 the brownies in one sitting after I made them, got in 2 good days of walking in the hills, lots of frozen meals ate this week, that's the reason we have them on hand, for long days of work, being too tired & not in the mood to cook, lots of pizza ate, 1 slice at a meal instead of 2, didn't get overstuffed, eating less saves on groceries & leftovers last longer.

Birthdays & other April Happenings

Hello there Adventurous Friends, greetings from South Dakota. How you doing?  We're good here & hope you are too.  There were a couple of cases of Covid in our county this month.  The vaccine is available to those that want it when putting name on the waiting list. 

There were 2 birthdays, my Adventurous Guy & Daughter.  I worked a lot more hours on the job being short staffed.  Kevin took over some of the household duties such as the grocery shopping & cooking.  I planned activities & menus for Daughter & Grand's visits.  I'm so excited that time is getting closer!  We have a plan A, plan B, plan C & plan D as to how we're going to make things happen according to work schedules & when the new Grand decides to make his/her appearance.

April is Financial Literacy Month & Stress Awareness Month according to the Retiree E-Newsletter I get.  I did a little reading about how I might be able to improve my financial wellness & also read that all of us, not just me, experience some levels of stress & it ain't all bad.  This is my Sentence a Day where I write little somethings about each of my days, wrote in a loooong drawn out sentence or 2.   Here are others I've joined up with if you'd like to see what they've been up to.

* Thurs 1st - Ate pizza for supper sitting on the back of the truck up at the pond, watched geese & took a walk, looked for baby calves on the ride home, it's calving season.


* Fri 2nd - Messaged with Daughter, talked about moving in the direction of plan B for the Grand's summer visits, the hiring process is timely, everyone that wants to work already has a job or don't want to drive the distance out of their town.

Week 14


* Sat 3rd - Facetimed with the Grand's while eating breakfast, they showed me some of their Easter eggs from their dying eggstravanza, made egg salad to have on an Easter picnic lunch.

* Sun 4th - Headed out early, got home late, shared a chocolate rabbit with Kevin picniking in the hills along with a cracker buffet using the egg salad & some other toppings, did a lot of 4wheeler riding & walking, saw the 1st tick of the season crawling on my pant leg.

* Mon 5th - Heard a muffled noise that echoed in every direction while dog walking during lunch break, tried to figure out if it was birds or frogs or what, looked in the trees, there's no water in the pothole, later Kevin said it was 1000 sandhill cranes flying over, disappointed I didn't look straight up.

* Tues 6th - Got some much needed moisture overnight, big random snowflakes fell during 1st morning dog walk, thundersnow mid morning or the noise could have been a truck rumbling by since no one else heard thunder, the grass seemed so much greener during evening dog walk.

* Wed 7th - Sold some Lions club Happy Day Award fundraiser tickets, read the newspaper, watched several episodes of Heartland with Kevin.

* Thurs 8th - Road up in the hills in the truck looking for turkey sign,  had our pizza picnic & did some walking. 

* Fri 9th- Long tiring week at work, went to bed early, did some reading to relax.

Week 15

* Sat 10th - A funeral, father daughter dance & prom, lots of dressed up people around town, made a birthday cake for Kevin, forgot about the ice cream, made a quick trip to the grocery store, thought I would grab a couple more packs of those strawberries that were on sale to put up in the freezer, they were out.

 occasion.  We ate on it all week &
 missed it when it was all gone.


* Sun 11th - Went to the big city, ate lunch at Culver's for Kevin's birthday eating out choice, he got a fish dinner, I got the single butter burger cheese basket, shopped at Cabela's using points, the leather shop was closed for getting Grand's bracelet crafting supplies, ran in Walmart, got a few things we can't get at our little grocery store.

* Mon 12th - Dreary, cold & windy with snow flurries, long full busy day at work, put away stuff from the shopping adventure, started menu list for Daughter's visit, played with Rose & her new toy, watched several episodes of Heartland, Kevin ordered the leather crafting supplies online.

* Tues 13th - Another dreary, cold & windy day with snow flurries, had to come up with something for supper, all the leftovers were eaten up, Kevin made grilled pulled pork, egg & cheese sandwiches.

* Wed 14th - Saw hundreds of sand hill cranes in a field on my drive to work, pulled over to look & listen for a few moments.

Is Grand # 8 a Boy or a Girl?
 My guess is a girl due to the high heart rate.

* Thurs 15th - Ate our pizza at home looking out the window at the rain, made some cookies, watched several episodes of Heartland.

* Fri 16th - Surprised when looked out the window & saw the ground was white, had a conference call with Daughter & got plane tickets bought for the Grand's.

Week 15

* Sat 17th - Rode to the dump with Kevin then rode down the road to see the grass fire that was started from welding on a fence.
I didn't win anything but I sure did enjoy the snack.

A good little fishing hole.  There was snow
 on the ground in places.  The scenery was
spectacular.  Caught a mess of fish.

* Sun 18th- I noticed the black birds have arrived, they'll probably finish off the olive berries on the Russian olive trees, the grouse are gone, the turkey is still hanging around, took a truck ride up in the canyon, did a lot of walking & fishing, got whoppers & fries from Burger King for supper on the way home.

* Mon 19th - Had the cruise set at 65 driving to work on the clear dry road, plow truck went by, road turned wet then snow covered, slowed down to 35 mph, went to Lions club meeting after work, supper was provided by a fellow Lions member, the food was delicious, ate too much, next meeting is road side trash pick up & selecting scholarship winners.

* Tues 20th - Kevin cooked fish for supper, I made cookies.

* Wed 21st - Read the newspaper - masquerade prom theme, fire restrictions went into effect - no camp fires, the highway department is taking applications for a seasonal crew member; checked out a new series on Netflix called Dynasty.

* Thurs 22nd - Paid the property taxes for the year, rode up in the hills, had our pizza picnic & went walking.
Check out this beaver dam.  Rose ended up falling in
the pond while she was sniffing around for the beavers.


* Fri 23rd  - Slept in, felt so good, Kevin was off work not me, had just enough time to take Rose out to do her business, ate a bowl of crunchy raisin bran cereal & grabbed my coffee to go, oldest Grand got his driver permit.

Week 16

* Sat 24th - Did a couple loads of laundry, finished the birthday box to mail to Moma, looked in photo albums for pictures of Daughter to use for a baby shower game.

* Sun 25th - Went back to the canyon again for fishing & walking before it gets too growed up & snaky, caught our limit, ordered our years supply of toilet paper - 60 rolls & soaker hoses for the garden.
Saw the mountain goats on the way to our fishing spot.
They were covered in burrs.

* Mon 26th - Kevin put together ingredients that made a delicious taco salad; crumbled up nacho cheese taco shell, leftover bbq pulled pork mixed with spanish rice, can of peas, can of whole kernel corn; fresh broccoli, cauliflower & carrots cut up, topped with a spoonful of ranch dressing; his was a burrito; saw the 1st dandelions of the season in the yard while out dog walking.

* Tues 27th - Admired the dandelions while taking a long sunshine dog walk with Rose during lunch break, watched the last episode of Heartland, saw advertised somewhere there is a season 14 coming out soon.

* Wed 28th - Got the soaker hoses, toilet paper & some of the other items I ordered from Walmart, there were 3 big boxes & 2 little ones, I told Kevin I only ordered a couple things...Hehehe, saving the boxes for the youngest Grands to play in.

* Thurs 29th - Planned to have a pizza picnic out at the lake & take our fishing poles to see if the fish were biting; worked late doing inventory, it was too windy for fishing & both of us was tired with aching feet, ate our pizza at home, went for a longer dog walk out the backyard, ate ice cream & watched several episodes of Survivor.

*Fri 30th - Noticed several asparagus sprouts shooting up out of the garden (clap! clap).

Walking for Wellness - Week 2

Hello there Adventurous Friends, this is where I'm keeping my eating & walking notes in attempts to get my weight & cholesterol back down.  Writing things down to look at & think about has really helped me to stay more on track to eat less.  Eating less is what I'm working on 1st.  I had a few slip ups of eating just a little too much this week, but I didn't let that get me down.  Let's see how I've done this week.

Here's my Plan:

  • Eat smaller portions, take smaller bites, chew more 
  • Eat varieties of all the foods I like & not deprive myself
  • Eat at least 1 fruit & 1 green vegetable a day Changing this to: Eat a variety of fruits & vegetables, at least 1 fruit & 1 green vegetable a day
  • Stop eating when full
  • Walk more
  • 1 small sweet a day, if any
  • Drink more water
  • No snacks after supper

 - ate 1/2 egg biscuit

Snack - none

Lunch - ate other 1/2 of egg biscuit

Supper/Veggie/Sweet - hungry, didn't grab this & that to snack on while supper was cooking, ate smaller portion of meat & larger portion of veggies, broccoli in veggie stir fry & salad, smore, ate 1 instead of 2 or more, didn't eat till overstuffed

Fruit - none, had variety of veggies for supper

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - short fast pace dog walk

No snack after supper

Breakfast/Fruit - ate less, orange slices

Lunch - ate less, veggie stir fry picnic

Snack/Sweet - chewy dipp granola covered with chocolate

Supper/Veggie - salad & okra, didn't eat till stuffed, packed some for lunch

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - several walks in the hills

No snack after supper, no coke on picnic, saving it for pizza Thursday.

Lunch - ate less, leftovers stir fry veggies from supper

Supper/Veggies - hungry, didn't grab snacks while cooking supper, green beans & salad, didn't eat till stuffed.

Exercise - walked lots at work, tired

No snack after supper, wanted to eat something for comfort due to long day at work, got busy not thinking about it by reading & watching tv.

Found sheds, a heart shaped
rock & crocus during
weekend walking.

Breakfast/Fruit
 - ate less cereal, orange & apple slices

Snack - none

Lunch - cup of soup bought by coworker 

Supper/Veggies - ate till full, green beans & salad

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Sweet - none

Exercise - walked around inside during break, dog walk during lunch

No snack after supper

Breakfast/Fruit- single serving instant oatmeal instead of more, apple slices

Lunch - ate a smaller portion, might have ate too fast, had a knot in stomach

Snack - v-8 juice

Supper/Veggies - salad, might have ate a little too much of something, stomach a little bloated & gas

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Sweet - none

Exercise - walked extra trips putting away folded laundry, dog walks

No snack after supper


* Thurs

Breakfast - single serving size oatmeal, apple slices

Snack - none

Lunch/Veggie - small portion of leftover supper, carrots (not a green, though had green peppers on pizza for supper)

Supper/Sweet - 1 slice of pizza instead of 2, 12 oz can of coke instead of a 2 litter bottle with several refills & more for later.

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - walked around, up at the pond

No snack after supper, resisted making the brownies I discovered in the pantry.  I saved them for later for a special occasion.

Ate pizza for supper sitting on the back of the truck, 
watched geese & walked around the pond.


* Fri

Breakfast - slice of leftover pizza with an egg, 1 egg instead of 2, hardy breakfast, didn't need a snack

Snack - none

Lunch - slice of leftover pizza with salad

Supper/Veggies/Sweet - Kevin brought in Culver's burgers, fries & coke, I 1/2d my burger & fries & added a little salad to get in my veggies & a green, small coke, didn't take the refill Kevin offered.  I'll have the other 1/2 of burger & fries for lunch.

Fruit - none, forgot about it

Drink - one cup of coffee, water

Exercise - dog walks, lots of walking at work, tired

No snack after supper


Notes:  Pants seem looser around the waist, pants not cutting in making muffin top, felt lighter walking, need to remember the fruits
