Hello there Adventurous Friends & Family, greetings from Georgia. How you doing? The 4th was a joyful summer day. Daughter & Grands came over, Kevin got the pond going & I got some tattoos. We ate leftover hotdogs & watermelon for a few days. Grab a coffee or your favorite beverage & tell me how your summer is going.

Looks like you had a fun 4th! The pond makes for a fun floating activity for your Grands! We are still staying away from people after Gene was in the hospital. Hopefully he will be back to his normal in a couple of weeks:)

Hello there,

My name is Karen. I retired at age 57 1/2 & I'm sharing what my life is like in early retirement. I volunteer at daycare 1 or 2 days a week, do a homeschool day with Grands, go camping, fishing & trail riding with my husband Kevin, along with homesteading. We grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina. During midcareer, I transferred through work to the Midwest for new adventures & exploring different regions. We met lots of new friends & acquaintances along the way. We're back near our hometowns & close to family as we age gracefully.
