Hello there Adventurous Friends & Family, greetings from Georgia. How you doing this 11th week of 2023? Sister & I stayed with the Grands while their parents went on an extended weekend getaway. Grab a coffee or your favorite beverage & I'll tell you about a few things that went on while I was at Daughter's house, come walk with me... |
Me & Sister cooked chicken for a Family Sunday Dinner. There was shake & bake bbq, ranch dressing marinated & strips. Before night fall, all the leftover chicken had disappeared along with Moma's banana pudding. |
There was a nice day for a walk but there were no flowers to pick. |
I made 2 pans of these breakfast rollups.
Grands putting things away, helping clean house for Sunday Dinner. "What is this in my shoe?" |
Grands & Friend worked 2 days building this fort, it was a little too cold & rainy to have the overnight campout they had planned.
An apple seed was planted. |
These are some of the things that's been going on in my neck of the woods, how has your week been?
Looks like you have settled in nicely to the new homestead. I love that the grands built a fort. Not many kids still do that stuff...so much fun!! Hope it stays intact until they can spend the night in it comfortably!!
ReplyDeleteGood meal you fixed with all the kinds of chicken and pudding for dessert. Mmmm, mmm.
Sounds like your grands are having a great time and enjoying your and your sister's cooking. Thank you for your weekend coffee share.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice week it seems like. The weather looks rather pleasant too. We've had a lot of snow this week.
ReplyDeleteSo glad the grands had fun building the fort. That chicken you cooked sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteLooks warm there and you are having fun with your Grands!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun time to be had by all!!
ReplyDeleteToo bad it was too cold for a sleepover in the fort; I love seeing what they built and I'm sure they were proud of it.
