The Grands headed back home. Security was very kind & patient helping get their backpacks checked.

We took the Grands camping out at the lake. Kevin & I had not camped there before, so it was a new camping spot for all of us.

I cooked a turkey & we had Thanksgiving. Kevin said "Happy Thanksgiving" & we each took a turn saying something we were thankful for.

The Grands got me started watching The Office. We watched several seasons together, now I want to go back & start watching from the beginning.

I bet your house was awful quiet when all that energy left. How nice to have your own Thanksgiving, complete with lovely bouquet. And the apple cake looks scrumptious. Glad all the fellas got in on the baking.
ReplyDeleteYes, very quiet & somewhat of a lonely feeling. Those boys ate several helpings of turkey & we had leftovers for several days. The boys helped prep & prepare lots of our meals, chopping, slicing, stirring & making sweet tea.
